I love trucks. When I go to Atlanta I drive my younger sons black RAM - and, old as I am, guys flirt with me....I love it! A girl can't go wrong wearing a big truck....

I will always own either a good sized SUV or a truck....only exception is if Frank wants to give me his Beamer....

That's really funny - when I took my niece on her first rock hunt, we were going to dig crystals. She was going to take a change of clothes and I couldn't figure out what for - and she said "in case we stop in town on the way home" (she was single then). I laughed and told her just grab a jacket in case the weather changes.. We dug some awesome crystals that day...in redish dirt which we got all over us. Then we stopped at a gas station and store for coffee and gas on the way home. We were laughing going in. A few local guys wanted to know if we'd had car problems and we told them about the hunt. We had free coffee and men following us to look at our finds, flirting with my niece almost pitifully - and I even got a few choice pick up attempts from guys quite youngish for me. Her life changed that day.

If you want a luxury truck just to impress -- why not get one that will impress REAL women and get something with tons of clearance and the ability to take them to places they've only dreamed of going - then go drive through some mud.

  No, we have hybrid cars in AU, you know the ones, you can't see around at stop sighs, and people use it to ride the cerbs when navigating around cars at turnoffs.
  
  Apparently they also dream about Phillip Island, (large island in AU, with a lot of sand and child snatching Dingoes) but that is about it?

You don't drive a bronco either. I had one. Had to push it a lot, and spent a lot of time under the hood trying to figure out what went fubar this time.

  Yeah, sorry about that. I resized it on a website of mine and then posted the link. It looked fine when I looked at it after posting but somehow now it's at full size.

Interestingly the Dodge Ram will be available in Australia and New Zealand for the first time later this year.

However I think most Aussies will still prefer one of the these. A Holden (GM) ute.

#1 thing is get a Jon Boat or other small fishing boat and trailer and go fishing whenever I want on the Lake here.

We actually need 4x4 here to get in and out during the Winter. We live down a gravel rural road.

We bring in tons of firewood for the Winters.

I'm sure I'll think of other things.
