Biggest fish I've ever caught so far. About 17 inches. A bass. At Lake Orange, 16-22 inches is a protected slot, so he is loose and free and I have his picture.

Really amazing fish you have caught. I did it in the boyhood but not so big. LOL!

Looks like he'd (she'd?) have put up a struggle. How long did it take you to reel him (her?) in?

So that blind people can hate them as well.

Just the bad kids. Not the cool kids.

The fish looks bigger than 17", but I'm a guy, so of course I'd say that.

The fish really did struggle but I got it on the pier within 10 minutes .... I didn't have a net, so I had to bring it in without one. It was a lot of fun because it was such a powerful fish and kept trying to get in under the pier and kept diving down deeper as evasive moves.

That lake is noted for huge bass and walleyes. A few months ago, I got something on my line and knew it was huge. Nothing I did would have enabled me to land that fish. It was so powerful, that all it had to do is swim away still hooked. I couldn't budge it. It headed straight under the pier and pulled so hard it broke my line and bye bye fish and I never even got to see what it was.

It may be bigger by a couple of inches. I had a rudimentary measuring system that is not quite as accurate as a tape measure. All I knew is that it was in the protected slot, so enjoy the catch while I could, do no damage and kiss the fish goodbye after I got a pic.

That's my kind of fishing - reel 'em in and then let 'em go. Looks big enough to put up a good fight.

I had a picture of you being a skinny lady of age.

I guess I was dead wrong.....

Or the bait was amazingly effective.
