Two great stories caught my attention that are both feel good warm fuzzy stories that give you a little more faith in humanity.

The first of course is the Americans and a Brit who adverted disaster by putting themselves in harm's way to stop the heavily armed person on the French train.

Now they are French Knights. Nice.

Then I saw this story and it was the same kind of heroics. People taking action and putting themselves in harm's way to save another.

Yeah with all the bickering, war, crime, and other negativity we face daily, it's easy to forget the good that happens every day too. Thanks for sharing.

Reading about these things is a better way to start the day. Thank you.

The three Americans were only on that car because they wanted better WIFI and switched seats.
One of the Americans, the most injured of the three, also saved the life of the French man who was the first to encounter the shooter. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...cda_story.html

Both incidents required quick action, but I might have just passed by the trooper in trouble. Unknowingly and unintentionally - just unaware it was not an ordinary traffic stop. I don't know. That incident seems to have required more than just reacting. Being really aware and quick thinking.

Yeah .... the guy in the truck incident had a sawed off shotgun that he shot the Trooper in the head with. This is the first time I have ever heard of people stopping and intervening in something like that. Took a great amount of courage. Sadly, the Trooper is in critical condition and his brain is not sending signals to tell his body what to do .... neurotransmitter problem, I think is how they described it. I hope they can fix it.

Sadly, just read that the Trooper has died. At least they won't have to spend millions on a manhunt because of what the motorists did.
