behind the neck headphones....sooooo confused

I've been looking for a pair of good quality "L" shaped plug behind the neck headphones and am stumped. I do like Sony but after having a pair of more expensive ones die, wanted to check out others. I've heard good things about sennheiser and philips and flat out want some objectivity. Can you guys help? I don't really want to spend more than say 40$

    I hate to burst your bubble, but I doubt you find a good pair for under $40.
