Can you guess where these images are from, or what motion picture or movie?

Top is current day, bottom the movie.

Whatever...., will probably get this one?

Too easy!

Last one is a toughie, but still a very popular movie!

No idea on the first one.

The second one was renamed as Nakatomi Plaza for Bruce Willis' first major movie, although it could also be Lethal Weapon 2 that you're referring to.

The third one looks like the building that James Bond escaped from with a jet pack in Thunderball.

Yay, a fun thread! Almost like the good old days...

Top one, The Italian Job? But don't think it is.

Way off with the last one, but it has been used in several movies, but l am looking for a very well known movie, this was in at the start.

Ok, l am sure someone will get one of the last ones, so here is another toughie!

And since this is pretty hard, another from the movie, (well, inside).

It is a horror movie, and the kid in it was into tricycles, well, the plastic, toy type ones?

Very well know, horror by the way!

Technically, this is incorrect. The building in the pic is of the Stanley Hotel, which is about a mile from where I live.

The Stanley was where Stephen King locked himself into a room and wrote the book The Shining. The movie was supposed to be filmed at the Stanley, but there wasn't any snow that year, so it was filmed in either Oregon or Washington...can't remember which one. So it wasn't used in the movie.

Since this is a movie trivia thread started by Shane, and not a book trivia thread, I think Shane should buy us all a pizza (except Claude) for misleading us...

BTW, the Stanley has plans to create a maze modeled on the one in the movie soon as a tourist attraction.

There was an article on MSN earlier this morning that talked about the maze. According to the article, it's recently been installed. The owner decided to have the hedges max out at three feet tall as he didn't want to be responsible for lost children. What a buzzkill.

The Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood in Oregon was filmed for a few of the exterior shots of the fictional Overlook Hotel, and notably absent in these shots is the hedge maze

No, it doesn't mean we're both right. It means I'm right and you're wrong. Read the info you posted a link to, to find out where the interior shots were filmed, but it wasn't at the Stanley.

I think you'd have been better off saying you didn't read the thread. Because you're wrong and I explained why you are wrong in my posts and you still couldn't figure it out.

Plus, giving the same response AFTER someone else has hardly qualifies as getting credit for getting it correct. I bet Alex Trebek would love you.

This one might be tricky, so l have included two photos. Also very popular movie.

There were plans to make this into a big budget motion picture, reflecting the soundtrack, sure hope that they do!

That first pic is driving me mad, Shane.

I have read the original Time Machine book, and the illustrations are ink, line illustrations.
