I click on remove and it tells me that the malicious agent is removed. Then after a while it notifies me again. It is really annoying and interfering on my work.

Any solution? Thx.

The issue may be a recurring problem do to it launching from somewhere within probably system32 or User/Appdata. Try checking running processes and look through for something that looks out of place, or alternatively open 'Event Viewer' to see the details of where the malicious file or error is launching from so you can go in as chances are its removing but with each restart it's going back.

Also get hold of 'CCleaner' which you can use to check what programmes load on start up. This will not only speed up launch of the PC but gives you a better idea of what's launching in the background

Hmmm, CCleaner is good, but it also has a tendency to go on a rampage and remove too much.

"Regcure Pro", is good and doesn't go berserk when using for the first time. But it is about $30 a year, well worth it overall.

Apart from that it sounds like you installed some freebie, and it came with several crappy pieces of software, that keep raising its ugly head every time you turn your computer on?

I would go into the removing software tab, and get rid of anything you are not familiar with, but be careful, some is necessary for your system.

Thx guys. I will check your suggestions.

This is surprising to me. Mcafee and Avira are the top in the market but none can remove such malware.

The problem I encountered with Avira is that it is always warning me of autorun virus and asks me to allow it to remove. After the process finishes and the second time I connect the flash drive it warns me about an autorun virus again. What ... ???

The cycle continues. Why these giant companies could not remove such viruses or malwares is something I can not comprehend.

So you and plugging in a flash drive before the issue occurs? This means there is something launching from this causing a prompt by your antivirus. By default anything you plug in your PC your antivirus will do a quick sweep for anything on the surface or that is forcing an action like a boot device.

My advice would be to look at the details of the detection, in some cases it might not actually be malware just some software that is either old, not up-to date or is no longer trusted due to possible gateways it may open.

I would advise also to keep a good backup if possible of any files you wouldn't want to see vanish if the worst is to happen along with a check that all the measures are in place to protect any accounts you hold dear like E-mails and on-line banking.

Yes, the bigger that more some viruses sneak past them?

I have Norton and it is common knowledge that some viruses will evade it!

They usually hide in restore point backups, so getting rid of all restore points is also a good idea, if all else fails?

So Malwarebytes Anti-Melware is another one you should download, (free). A full system scan with this one will get rid of things that Norton and maybe Mcfee will miss.

But download an old version the latest one pesters you do death asking that you pay for the advanced one, (which you don't really need).

      Aren't computers fun!
