To make a long story short, l basically wanted to get into Creative Design, (graphic hub) for the last 6 months, but bombed out!

Or l tried once with some that were accepted by Graphicriver, (flyers) and some they rejected.

Then tried again with earlier flyers, about 16 all up, but more rejections there, and less that GR accepted, and no surprise, l got rejected again!

Then after 6 months of hard work, l tried again, this time l had 12 that GR accepted, so no rejections, (Creative Design need 10 designs at minimal to consider an application).

And l finally got in, YAY, (celebratory cake and coffee below).

This means no more 70 to 80% GR acceptance rates, with my work, since l have this backup site!

Creative Market is very difficult to get into, but once there, you can do what you like and no more rejections. Well, keep the standards up, l wouldn't want to put crap on there!

As well as having about 27 flyers that l can use over there, (well probably 25 more or less) that GR didn't accept?

So, yeah, hard work, does pay off, and shortcuts or good luck can happen!

PS the cake is a liquor, sponge, white and dark chocolate mouse, with some biscuity things stuck on the side. Very nice!

      Thanks Sbucciarel!

Yes, l know someone on GR, that has tried 3 times, without success to get into this one.

And he has ten times more flyers and is one year ahead of me on GR. So, yeah, quite an achievement.

But he has made the mistake l did, in using rejected works from GR on getting into Creative Design.

True that some works shouldn't have been canned, but some should have, and they will go against you when submitting.

As everyone keeps saying here, throw everything you have at one area, and good things will happen!

Thanks Tom, yes, l enjoyed that at a swanky coffee shop, with Frank Sinatra playing softly in the background.

Dulled the usual baby cry, but thankfully not as bad as it could have been.

Haha - terrific. My kind of environment entirely. Good lesson for marketers, too: accomplish something, treat yourself. I know a few designers so I have some insight into your accomplishment. I expect you're on top of the world today. As you should be!

        Cheers - Tom

Yes, pretty high up there, but it is getting a bit frustrating, since there is a lot of work to do to get all of those flyers up on the new site, and some other more boring things are getting in the way!

A bit like a kid on Xmas day, that needs to sleep a bit more before getting up and tearing into the presents?

Yes, Creative Market, probably let me in since they could see that l was competent enough to get a store there. Or another way of putting it, l had the ability to do good work for their site, and wasn't going to do, terrible designs for a quick buck?

There may also be some other opportunities there, but time will tell?

          Thanks again Tom!
