I have real trouble saying certain words. I can try again and again to pronounce them but its a struggle and if I'm lucky I will get a word correct 1 out of every 10 times.

Yet if I lie down I can say the words no problem first time. Does anyone else find it easy to say certain words lying down yet have great difficulty pronouncing them standing up?

Hardly a place to come and ask advice on medical or psychological problems.

Although: Claude's previous girlfriends could only say: "Get off me you fat lump" when lying down.

Claude may have called them "girlfriends", but the rest of us refer to them as "captives".

Not true. Whenever Claude lay on top of his girlfriend the valve would pop open and she'd deflate.

Similar problem to Ozzie Osborne, no one can understand him if he talks but when he sings he is crystal clear

I used to listen to the Art Bell talk radio show, and one of his guests asked if he could lay down while speaking cause it relaxed him. Art told him to do whatever made him comfortable since neither he nor his audience could see anything he did. And so he did. And he was great.

I see your relatively new. This is the Bar where we are allowed to be stupid and have senseless fun.

Its been going on for years. My advice is if you do not want stupid comments then don't post a Thread down here

They are picking on me here. This forum is made up of mean bullies that pick on me because they are jealous of my genius.

Not really. We pick on each other here. That's pretty much what we do here....pick on each other, and make stupid posts. The real humor is when the poster thinks his post is serious, and it's nonsense.

I can say stupid comments both standing up and laying down.

A few years ago on something called Pop Idol there was a young chap called Gareth Gates, you've probably heard of him if you're from here and he had a really bad stutter when speaking but when he sang everything came out perfect and ended up being runner up. Maybe it's something like that.

This is actually normal. When singing, people that stutter don't have to think about what to say next, they already know. Another example of this is country/western singer Mel Tillis.

It seems so. Near the end of the clip Nicki Chapman (the lady) mentions about working with Scatman John a few years earlier and how his hit song The Scatman was all to do with his stutter. Zodiax posted the video on another thread a couple weeks back but I'd never really paid attention to the actual lyrics, or at least forgotten them since then.
