Yep, l clicked on the vintage thread, and decided to do some research, into Radium products.

Pretty scary what l found, and a stark reminder that Doctors aren't right 100% of the time. They were dead wrong, about this new substance!

Yes, naturally occurring radium, not concentrated!!!!

Plants do carry a very small amount of radium locked in the soil into foodstuffs, which is safe, but not this...

Government tests show Revigorator equally radioactive to the greatest health springs in the country.
Doubt that the spring would kill you?

Doctor obviously missing something here.

Here is the link if you want to blow this one up, but it is all in french, so...

Before and after, no, too scary!

Or we have this to make your plants grow fast, l bet!

After all scientists in the US and Europe have thoroughly tested this for 10 years so it must be safe????

Puts GMO to shame!

But it gets worse...

The Radium Girls were female factory workers who contracted radiation poisoning from painting watch dials with glow-in-the-dark paint at the United States Radium factory in Orange, New Jersey around 1917. The women, who had been told the paint was harmless, ingested deadly amounts of radium by licking their paintbrushes to give them a fine point; some also painted their fingernails and teeth with the glowing substance

After all doctors were using it, so....

I won't post here what happened to these women, but suffice to say a few got it in their mouths or teeth.

Yes, before and after....

In the 1920s, the radioactive metal radium was considered a miracle cure. "Radiotherapy" was used to treat not only cancer and lupus, but acne, baldness and impotence; you could even buy "Radium" brand butter, cigarettes and beer.
No surprise!
