I remembered that oujii boards used to be sold as a board game by Parker brothers in toyshops. I thought it was high irresponsible. The only ?real experience I had once was when I was in secondary school. The following was what happened.

Q. What is your name?
A. A J E W

Q. When did you die?
A. 4 4

Q. Where did you die?
A. B E L S E N

At that point, one of the participants said that Belsen was the site of a Nazi concentration camp where many jews was gassed to death.

We got scared and stopped immediately. I had trouble getting to sleep that night

I used one with some friends as a kid but something scared us, too. I don't really remember what happened - just we were scared and put it away and never touched it again. Could have been just kid's imagination, could have been something actually strange. Now I'm seriously trying to remember but it apparently is just a lost memory which I hope doesn't come back to me in
the middle of the night in a dream, LOL. Thanks.

I didn't know these were sold as children's toys, (how awful)

I nearly had a nervous breakdown (true) in my teens after messing with one of these. I wouldn't go near another one now if you paid me a million dollars (and that's true as well)

This and the homemade version "Spirit of the Glass" (an upside down wine glass and letters and numbers around the table) I wouldn't recommend anybody going near.

One time, an unbelieving friend said "Yeah, someone's pushing it!"
The glass started going round and round without anybody touching it and then flew off the table straight at him.

There are some things you shouldn't meddle with if you don't know what you are doing.

Apparently this is still made by Parker Brothers and still on sale for $17.95!

    Ouija Board

    "Ages 8-Adult. 2 Players"

This is really really disgusting, just how on earth can you call this a game and recommend to 8 years old kids? I wonder how they got away without ever being sued for millions of dollars

Do not get between a wombat and a chocolate biscuit; you will regret it dearly!
