    I get these from time to time as well.

    Mostly the ones I get are the love notes you get when people unsubscribe from your list.

    I get a huge kick out of them.

    I actually considered making a blog post where I could put them all but then I thought these people are undoubtedly huge losers so why waste any of my precious time on negative morons.

      Reminded me of the only "really bad" comment I had about five years ago. I had been trying to help a man get started online with some unofficial and unpaid mentoring. I wrote countless long emails explaining basic practices and he just kept coming back with arguments about what I advised.

      I finally stopped answering the emails and told him I'd sent him enough info to get started on his own. He did not appreciate that. His next email said "I can figure out where you live." My response was "I have a carry permit."

      Never heard from him again.

      Apparently "thank you" was out of the question....


      I've always been fascinated by people who sign up to mailing lists with Disney names or smart remarks. What mentality do you have to think that's funny or that anyone cares?

        I do something similar to determine "email creep." If I sign up for Claude's list as Jack Bauer or I Know You're Going to Spam Me, Jr. and I start getting emails from Kurt addressing me as the same, I know Claude's sharing my detes. Claude's and Kurt's autoresponder hosts get a spam complaint.

    My thoughts:

    To paraphrase Kat Williams: If you aren't attracting haters, you're doing something wrong.

    Personally, I love haters, critics, and negative people. They motivate and push me upward and onward. Nothing leads to failure worse than surrounding yourself with 'YES PEOPLE' who shower you with attaboys all day long. Self-esteem doesn't put food on the table... RESULTS do!

    Plus, it's very hard to fail and feel crappy if you don't give yourself permission to do so.
