A remarkable story.

Perth man Reg Foggerdy has been found alive after six days lost in the desert in central Western Australia.

The amazing news is his last couple of days of survival were achieved by lying down under a tree and eating black ants, so that’s the level of survival that Mr Foggerdy has gone to,”

In the early 80's I worked on mine sites around that area, and I can attest to how harsh and isolated that part of the world is.

He's a very lucky man.

I'm sure he found that the insects were abundant, although his experience was aberrant. His nutrients were scant, to say the least, but the ants gave him an advantage. I imagine when he got home, he needed an antacid. I wonder if people will call him an anteater now. I imagine he'll be hesitant to return to that area, or perhaps next time he'll be a little more observant.

The above post was the very antithesis of good taste. You have a very mordant sense of humour. Next time you might try being a bit more gallant.

On a serious note, according to the latest news, he's now feeling quite vibrant and should be self reliant shortly.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

I bet he will have to be dragged to go see Antman?

Or he will be a bit antsie about it!
