Does anyone else have a phantom notification?

Or is it just me that is haunted, lol!

There's a number 1 after my "Your Notifications" link and when I hover my mouse over it, it says that I have 1 unread private message.

But I don't have an unread private message.

Wait!!

Did you all get special secret pm decoder rings during my absence?

      This is the third day that it's been there.

      No, I didn't report it because I honestly didn't think it was very serious. I was just wondering if it was a forum wide glitch or if I was just special, hahaha!

    It happened to me when I received a private message and opened my message box, but not the message, as I didn't care to read it. I just deleted it so the notification stayed.

      That must be it!

      I had 6 messages and read and answered 5 of them. The 6th was asking me if I wanted to buy something in the title. I didn't want to so I deleted it without opening it.

      How long did the notification stay there?

    Did you do any of the following during the last year:

    1-a)Bought property on an ancient indian burial site
    b)Built a golf course on an ancient indian burial site
    2-Said "bloody mary" three times in front of a mirror
    3-Voted for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary

    That would explain a lot of it (Old mary is not what she used to be)

                  PMs from Kurt, that I don't read...stay around for a few days. I find it difficult to eat, during that time.
