Peak meteor showers tonight.
Brightest between 9 and 11
Most plentiful around 1 AM.

    Heysal - is that just northern hemisphere that will get to enjoy these or even us lucky folk down in the bottom of the world...... sorry if it's a dumb question - i don't follow the press at all!

    I don't know why they wouldn't show in the S. Hemisphere - The north is not the only part of the globe travelling through the meteor belt right now. Not sure what times will be best there though.

    It's just now getting dark here and I am really hoping the sky clears up - we have mostly cloudy skies right now. I got to see some nice ones camping though. I just moved back to ID where I lived before I started my 3 year travel binge. It was a one day trip to get here and it only took Munch and I 5 days to make it, LOL. I love camping.

      Perseus is the radiant for the shower and is almost circumpolar. Perseus is barely visible that far south. Some meteors far from the radiant may be visible but it is mostly a northern show. Think of meteors as bugs hitting your windshield, Perseus is the windshield.
