Does anybody ever find stuff with search?

Hi warriors,

DO you actually find the things you are searching for here in the forum? I never really find the right topic and with the hundred thousands of topics I find it easier to just create a new topic.

Someone should make a guide on how to use the search to actually find stuff

    I use google to search the forum, seems to work better than searching directly from here.

        Same here.

        Even if I'm looking for something on my own forums/sites I use google search. Works much better and I find the topic faster.

    Often googlin' topics related to marketing will return several Warrior forum posts.

    But as far as the WF search? - it sucks, and rarely returns proper results unless you know the 'exact' post title, thread title, or posters name.

    Use the advanced search, break it down by sub-forum (subject), forum profile name, date, or whatever...

      I do advanced search, or a google search with "warriorforum" added.

      Typically what I don't find (and it annoys the crap out of me to no end) is when I'm looking for something and willing to pay good money for it and it is a WSO that uses a full graphic sales page so there is no actual content for the SE to read.
