    True story... when I lived in Brooklyn, the Chinese place on my block had the menu organized such that, just by chance, "Special Ho Fun" was #69 on the menu.

          No, l have seen this piece of s*** on other forums, basically the bots update their crap every 10 seconds, and saturate that forum to death.

          At least til the tech, department, try to block it, then the crap gets around it and starts again.

          True, this is like a toilet roll, that won't stop spinning. But the crap has to stop sometime?

    The mods here do their jobs. Fairly obvious that it's a large spam attack by probably one person/bot or a couple. And it's fairly obvious without reporting it. The mods can see that kind of spam, ya think? Sure enough, it was gone by the time I got up and looked at the forum.

      I would think. But it was going on for 45+ minutes by the time I posted, and I was genuinely curious if we were all intentionally not reporting it, to see when a mod would actually get around to checking in. It seemed to me 45 min was pretty excessive to allow this kind of attack to continue.

        They do it on their own work schedules in their own time zone ... and some may be playing games deliberately not reporting it to have a "gotcha" moment with the mods, but I don't.
