What is the Best Gift to Give to a Stranger?

If you were to choose a random name in the phone book and mail the person a gift, what do you think the best possible gift is (besides money) that the person would really appreciate?

Consider that you have no idea what their interests, needs, and wants are.

    I was in Quizno's last week and a bum walked in asking for a cup so he could get some water. I told the guy to get in line and order whatever he wanted. Made my day and his.
    That was a great gift for a stranger that day. =)

    This may sound really cheesy but if I had to give a random stranger a gift It would probably be my favorite edition of The Daily Bread. We have no gauge of how good or bad a strangers life is and giving him a unique perspective of hope is for me, one of the best ways to brighten the day.
