Star Wars, Drone, Cool Gift or......?

Saw this in a store in AU, for $150, quite a bit of money, but it is pretty good!

It does act like a drunkin, Head spinning possessed person, but it also has holographic abilities, (well, you need a smart phone) and can go rampant on its own?

Cool gift or something the dog will chew up, hard to say, but a cat would ignore it, as usual?

I bet that when the rechargables start to lose their storage ability this thing will lose its head?

Probably not advisable for small children?

Unless it does something more than what was shown in that video, the average kid is going to be bored with it before Christmas Day has ended.

I pity the poor parents who get nagged into forking out $150 for something that will end up in the kid's wardrobe, never to emerge again before the New Year rolls in.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

But it goes off by itself, and accepts commands, and beeps at you, and,.....yeah, a week or two, and l would throw it at the dog for kicks!

Apparently the underside of the head, which is magnetic, so it won't fall off if the batterys become dodgy, is prone to collecting dust, etc.

So, it will become a drone with a serious tick issue over time?

But will it sell like a Tickle me Elmo on Steroids, probably; the new Star Wars movie will gross over a billion, easy, so push this toy with ease?

This is much cooler, eventhough AU, police say that it requires registration, insurance and a drivers licence.

It sells for about $800 in AU, and will probably sell out, since it is practical and seriously cool. A bit like a poor mans hoverboard.

Apparenty in the US, and UK and here, it cannot be driven on the sidewalk, because of some silly 200 year old rule, and cannot be driven on the main road, since it requires redistration, blah, blah, but isn't a car!

Image how many will be hit driving this on the main road?

But the more expensive models, or $800 ones, can go for up to 18 kms!

Basically means that you can go to the shopping centre, and back without the car.

But there are issues, cheap ones may burst into flames, can't use it in the rain, police nabbing you, (although rare) and the biggie, it is bloody heavy, (l lifted one up in the store).

It is cool to use this to go to the shopping centre, but not much fun lugging it around with you afterwards?

But l would take this over a headless drone though!

Yeah, far as the Kenobi deal goes, this looks more Ben Wa than Obi Wan.

Bit too big for Ben Wa I think, but then again, what would I know about it.
