    I'm assuming the $5 to $10 million required to pay the staff, build the app, administer the data and the publisher relationships, and market the app is not a problem?

    As this is the second thread you've started asking what people think of app ideas, we can only deduce you're wanting to start an app development business.

    So far the two ideas you've had are already out there in one form or another. You'll have to come up with something far more original.

    And seriously.... I develop high performance full stack data driven software with highly polished and functional use cases for a living. I model data, I model user interactions, and I build every thing I need in between.

    This is what I do every day, and I'm pretty good at it.

    And I'm sure there are at least a few dozen more just like me lurking around here looking for ideas and inspiration.

    You ask me what I think of some truly brilliant original app idea in a public forum.... I will guarantee you that I will have it polished, modeled, built, and published before you can even spell iOS.

    Oh, and I won't reply to your thread to tell you what I think of it.

    How about building an app that provides tips on how to win friends and influence people? You seem to have those skills already, you just need to put in an app.
