I left Warriorforum several years ago. Today I came back only to read the "57 lessons" post again.

4 or 5 years ago, my life was in despair. I decided to leave everything and start a new life, which really meant everything new, new industry, new products, new market, new people, and without money.

It's a big challenge. I was rejected everywhere. After all, who would be interested in someone that didn't know much about the industry nor was young any more?

When I surfed on the Internet for some idea, I came across that post. It inspired me. I started to list my ideas to try. If I failed, then I tried to find the reason and modify the list, until the list of ideas became more and more helpful. And then, suddenly, I had the first business partner in the desired industry.

That thread is closed. I could only post here to say thank you to the author and Warriorforum.

Well, I just discovered you can't rate a closed thread, but you can still upvote it.

Yep, that was by Rod Cortez. An upstanding fellow, smart marketer, and an all-around good guy. He's helped a lot of folks over the years.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.
