Bullying is a major issue in our schools today but kids saying "Boo Seahawks" to a seven year old fellow student for wearing Seahawks apparel to his school in Carolina Panther country hardly seems like bullying to me.

I don't know maybe it's just me, but it seems like we are raising a bunch of spineless cry babies who can't bear to take a little bit of adversity.

God forbid this boy would ever hear any boos at a Middle School or High School game from opposing school fans.

Oh the horror

Anytime you say anything to anyone and they or anyone else can take offense to it, you are a bully.

That's the world we live in, Robert.

The next thirty to forty years are going to be fun (and sad) to watch from an older spectator's point of view.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

        Myself.

See how far this has gone? I've now bullied myself. I'm both ashamed of and angered by my actions.

I'm sure Claude and Joe (and other secret admirers) are very relieved.

Bullying is some physical, emotional, or relational attack of or against the PERSON! It is NOT doing things like this. If I said something against a persons pet, for example, that wouldn't be bullying the person AND, since the pet doesn't understand, and isn't affected, it isn't even bullying of the pet.

      Steve -

If you say something bad about my dog - I'll beat you up. I'll beat you up with asterisks and capitals. Guess that would make me a bully....oh well. Could be fun while it lasted...

      (kidding, of course)

Too bad that all his posts are not constrained to 2 sentences. The crazy generally kicks in at sentence No. 3. :-)

Not necessarily. If he had got into the color of the pet two sentences would have been enough
