Hello guys, I've been going through a very rough time in the past week.

I started selling digital games on eBay. I sold about $7,000 in the last 60 days. My PayPal was fully verified and had bank account and card on it, I spend money that people send me when they purchase to get the codes so I make profit..
It was going good for about two weeks until a dispute was opened. A chargeback, I had about $1000 in my PayPal balance until a few opened disputes the next day I ended up having -400 .. I got so scared and paranoid I replied to all the disputes sending them proof of the digital key been sent VIA eBay message. Some guy bought games off me while I was on negative and than I went back up to about $11 positive while my funds are on hold, I wanted to remove bank account but I couldn't, I could only remove the credit card. And now I'm very scared if a major amount of people open disputes and PayPal will automatically take out money out of my bank, if many dispute 7,000 will be taken out. The guys that purchased most had similar usernames and low feedback and recently created accounts but I've shipped most. I' have reported them to eBay and PayPal for fraud but they haven't got back to me. Guys please I really need help and tips to avoid this from happening. I am very paranoid and scared and I hope one of yous would be able to help me out thanks for reading.

I hear you. My PayPal got frozen and shot down with over $10K each time that happen. Be very careful with whom you deal with. Always protect yourself. PayPal is a bitch. I hate these people who work there. It's like a brick wall. They are there to get rid of you. They don't want to deal with your crap. You are like a dead weight once you start calling them. They will exhaust you... They will do everything to make you look stupid. They are the biggest scum bags on earth. US government is not doing freaking jack to regulate these a**holes. They own the government. It is HUGE monopoly. When you dispute through PayPal, their only concern is not to lose money. They don't really give a f** about you or your buyer...

And this didn't set off alarm bells before you accepted "their" money?

The whole thing was fraudulent from the start, so the $7k was never real to begin with. I'm surprised the perp didn't use stolen credit card(s), too. Best to just return all of the funds, and look for a better model.

Simple. If you are selling legit games with legit codes, just remove the money from your bank account. Then Paypal can't remove it.

I think Paypal will get some money If the bank account allows overdrafts. Those overdrafts fees are around $30 - $40 for each transaction. I could be wrong (don't want to test it, lol). I know local banks allow overdrafts up to $500.

Yes, been there and done that!

Well, l had developed some WP software, or a WSO, and it did quite well, well l sold about $1100 all up, with most going to affiliates.

Then l started getting sales with disputes a few days later, or some a***h*** went to a Giraffe site, got a stolen CC number and went to buy my product.

Most of the time, l would press a few buttons in PP and that would be that, but occasionally that wouldn't happen and l would have to pay the lot!

PayPal, (PP) change their rules so often that you don't have time to reread it all again, and just take a chance.

Unfortunately their rule changes seem to make it worse for members than better?

After being sc*** over for a year or so, (tried to delete or blackball the worst affiliates) l got fed up and wiped off all affiliates.

But recently, l got a direct sale here, with the same crap, so that product is history.

Never had to deal the PP to that extent, but l had a digital product, so if they sc*** me over, l would lose $25, and that it that!

I suppose PP is like Western Union, blow a ton of money with them and they send you a survey to ask them how are they doing?

Everytime l was out of pocket PP would send me a survey, maybe they like verbal abuse?

But for obvious reasons l never did one!

I agree PP is like Adwords, a frickin pain to use, but a powerful tool!

Are you just providing a digital delivery?

Not sure how you're delivering but, if you are doing things like codes, there is an easy way to actually "ship" this.

Copy the codes or what ever onto a cd and drop those in the mail.

You can get away with probably a dollar or less to ship and they get a "physical" product in the mail which can help on reducing this issue.

Hey guys thanks for the replies, I am very paranoid because I buy keys aswell. I spend to send these keys, if they open disputes all im doing is losing a lot of money. I am very paranoid and Its really ******* irritating me. Whenever i call paypal they go theres nothing to worry about blah blah but i already know they dont give 2 flying ****s. I have reported the fraud to eBay and PayPal. Still havent got back? Like its so obvious that all the accounts look very identical and fraudulent, he told me on the phone that the "accounts are all safe at the moment but i will forward this to the fraud team"

What im waiting for is my pending transactions to be dropped already so i can remove my bank account. I send screenshots of the gamekeys to paypal I dont know if im going to win these disputes. Some guy even opened about $700 worth and it said "Inquiry By PayPal" You could already tell that im not going to win that.. the guy told me he used these keys for "Online Poker Prizes".

So please anyone that could help me out on what i should do to avoid this, I could get in to massive trouble if this happens.
