I think X-files starts back up on TV tomorrow night (1/24/2016).

I'm not excited but I might watch it anyways.

I watch the Claude Whitacre channel on You-Tube. The video's on it are so old it's becoming a historical document. It does wonders for my insomnia though.

Other than that the only show I always watch is Shark Tank.

Just started watching Narcos and am hooked. Very well done! Sex, drugs, violence and some history.

        This channel is more interesting.

I'm sorry but I have never used the words 'excited' and 'TV' in the same sentence.

          Cheers. - Frank

Well, if they put back the Odd Couple, (1968, not the modern crap) l would get exited.

But it has been about 13 years since they last aired that series.

I just watched the movie, and forgot how funny it was!

Never been "excited" to watch a hockey game on "tv", huh?

            I cry BS, Frank.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

Sorry. You lose. I enjoy hockey and I love the sport, but excited to watch a game on TV? Never. I have watched 2 games so far this season. I don't get real warmed-up 'til just before the playoffs.

Few things in life actually excite me. I'm not a very excitable person. That's just the way I am.

              Cheers. - Frank

P.S. The last thing in my life that excited me on a regular basis was racing motorcycles. Many moons, ago.

Then you never watched 'Breaking Bad'

But anyway, Iam looking forward to 'Better Call Saul' here in a few weeks.

True. I have never seen a minute of it. That said, I doubt my interest would have risen to the level of excitement in anticipating the next episode. Contrary to popular belief, I actually do have a real life.

Oh, contraire. If you were blessed with this pud to pull you'd know that real life doesn't get any better than this. :-)

Now, off with you. Go back to pulling your pudlet.

                  Curious. I Googled the phrase.

Derailing an off topic thread -- you raced motorcicles, Frank? What kind?

I've considered buying a '96 GSXR 750 track bike lately. We've got a bike only track about 45 minutes from me, Jennings GP. $80 for the weekend, practice Saturday, race on Sunday.

Back on topic, I can't watch that kind of stuff on TV, either. If I want to catch a good nap I'll put on Formula 1, SCCA, or FIA and I'm out cold within 10 minutes.

I just realized why its called the OT forum. All threads are supposed to go Off Topic within a few posts. And we thought we were being rebellious.

      Greetings,

In the 1970's, after returning home from Vietnam, I was employed as the sales manager for Triumph of Philadelphia. Since volunteering for 'Nam didn't manage to get me killed, I figured motorcycle racing had to be a sure bet.

The type of racing I have done is what was commonly referred to at the time as 'road racing.' Rubber on asphalt. I raced a 750cc 3-cylinder Triumph that was bored to 867cc. It was mounted in a Rickman frame.

Your Bike: 1974 Rickman Trident CR - Cafe Racer TV

I have raced at Laconia (Louden), NH, Bridgehampton, NY, Pocono Speedway, Summit Point, WV, Talladega, AL and Daytona, FL.

Although I loved it, I was not very good. After a a couple of seasons of 6th through 10th place finishes and a few horrendous crashes, I hung up my leathers and traded them for pen and camera and became the east coast writer and photographer for Motor Cycle Weekly.

A period in my life that I wouldn't have traded for anything. I used to love mounting my bike in my '72 Chevy El Camino and traveling up and down the east coast. Just one more way that my life has been blessed.

      Cheers. - Frank

Lots of good stuff on the way including Black Sails tonight.

Blackbeard makes his first appearance while the British gov will try to reclaim control of the West Indies - after allowing the pirates to build it up.
