    My Granddaughter came for Christmas and brought her S.O. (from Colorado). Great guy who was a firefighter with the Hot Shots for a while. I mentioned to him I always feel sick when I see a forest fire and think of the animals being hurt in it.

    He said the animals are smarter than the people. Said the animals know to get out and that's what they do. Guess Eagles are equally brilliant.

    I couldn't load the live cam from here. We got eagles here by the river at the edge of our property. They fly over frequently. We see them a lot in the Spring and when I had a lot of chickens, a couple of them ended up as eagle food.

      I have noticed it doesn't work with Firefox. Try *gask* Chrome. Ugh.

      I have further noticed that every day there is one more thing that just doesn't work right (or at all) with Firefox.

      I would not find it at all surprising to discover that Google has paid engineers working on the Firefox project with the intent of gradually destabilizing it so Chrome can pick up the resulting disaffected market share.

      Anyhow, the comments thread is funny. People have named the squirrels and blue jays and probably even named the individual sticks in the nest.

    Ahhh ... I just went to the chrome site to download it and with my bandwidth, it said it would take 14 hrs. to set up. lol. Not happening.

      There's a workaround. Instead of downloading Chrome, just stay with Firefox and email all your browsing history to Google.

    Hey, the eagle don't care a f*ck about alla this.

    I love that she is up there with her feathers an' her beak, gazin' out toward horizons so virgin she cannot conceive of billboard opportunities.

    Tellya, if I am gonna be killed by a bird, I wannit to be an eagle.

    There is nuthin' but shame in havin' your eyeballs pecked out by a frickin' goose or disturbed dove.

    I am seriously inspired to hang my ass outta the window an' summon a buncha eagles come peck, if only to deter the lesser avians.

    I got some marmalade an' a few pine nuts, so I figure I am gtg soon as I dig out my butter knife from the washer an' download some squeako rodent nature program.

    My dream is to become the pinnacle of eaglekind 'lick as U flap' treats — all while exercisin' my squattin' muscles an' figurin' out how to find Pluto on my noo telescope.

    That is my kinda multitaskin'.

    Good for me, good for the eagles, good for the frickin' cosmos.

    I could not tell what bird they brought in for lunch, could you? Seemed like he left while she consumed lunch,,,,,,she flew away and then it looked like he stopped in to check things out. Very interesting. Sound was great!
