    Actually Chinese tourists do not need passports to visit Hong Kong and Macau which are Chinese sovereign territory. However those visits are still recorded as overseas visits.

    Hong Kong and Macau are the most visited and 6th most visited cities in the world, and Chinese tourists account for the bulk of the tourists there.

    I am a bit surprised that Japan is not on the list as Japanese tourists are quite prominent around Asia and Europe.

      We've been to Europe, Africa and South America and we're waiting for the kid to go to college next year, so the parents can explore Asia.
