Would you go?. It's all expenses paid and 6 months training but then you get to go. Current technology transportation and your trip is for 30 days.

Dangerous but fascinating, a chance in a lifetime.

Are you man or woman enough to say yes?

You might get work doing speaking engagements for a long time when you return.

Can I put the package on Ebay? If yes, then no. If no, then yes. I hope that makes sense.

It's use it or lose it. No money making schemes allowed trying to sell it.

Yeah, the opportunity is extremely rare. I realize it's pretty dangerous but I would go. No space walk or anything, just go up there, hang out, then come back. I realize they would have to train your for a spacewalk just in case but I don't really think staying on the station is all that dangerous.

People usually ask questions which involve a certain degree of defined risk (which I'm glad you didn't ask) like would you play 1 round of Russian roulette, if you don't die you win 10 million. Uh, no.

Or would you participate in some awkward sexual act for x amount of money. Personally, when I hit a certain age and a certain degree of financial security the amount of money here stopped mattering to me altogether. "Why, are you offering or something?"

Is it a package for two?

If I could take someone with me, I'd probably do it, but I'm afraid of heights and if I didn't have someone I knew and trusted to hold my hand and whisper in my ear that I would be okay, I'd pass.

I guess I'm just not a loner, lol!

Only you can go,constant webcam contact with your husband, family and Lexi of course. That's allowed.

          So, game?

I wouldn't want "work" upon returning.

I would go. But I'm in a very good position right now where I could dump any/all commitments I might have.

I'll be waiting outside the front door tomorrow morning at 10am. (I have to have my coffee first)

      LOL!

Coffee first. Someone I can relate to.

I always say and even have the quote hanging in my kitchen, "All you need is love...and Coffee!!"

10 or 15 years ago I would probably have been interested. But anymore to be honest stuff like this does not attract me in the least. Not that they would want me to begin with

  • Ha!

I would be concerned about alla the people wanna leave me up there.

"Here, Mr Nasa Guy, take this ten thousand bucks and make sure she don't come back till Christmas."

I could mebbe handle a month, but what happens after that?

Alla the excitement of travelin' out an' seein' the earth from way up gonna be washed away by endless streams of pee drainin' out into the bag strapped to your leg.

(I have not fully explored the anatomy of space suits, but I imagine they are kinda low on glamor. Fashionable turn-ups on a catheter gonna make you real sore.)

Interestingly, turns out sex in space ain't the big deal you might imagine.

Oh yeah, cos NASA have checked this out (as have I).

Far from producin' endless opportunities for *ahem* bein' picked up, turns out weightlessness kinda limits what is possible — unless both participants are holdin' on to sumthin' other than themselves.

But I figure that would be a cool kinda adventure holiday for sex tourists of the future — some kinda pod descendin' at speed from the outer atmosphere all the way to splashdown.

Weightlessness is prolly better suited to foreplay, but as gravity came on, you could kinda build things up.

Jus' gotta figure how to make the romantic mood music audible over the roar of blisterin' metal.

Frickin' candles gonna be an issue also.

Sounds like fun 30 years ago but I'm afraid the training would turn me off in these day and times.

They'd never send Claude into orbit. It would cause havoc with the tides.

Hmmmm....six months of training and one month in the sky....That totals seven months away.

My wife is about to spit out a kid and I'm told the first six months or so are excruciating....

    I'm in.

But only if I get to walk a red carpet to the delivery vehicle with this song playing:
