Ok, I think I'm going to start taking after Princess and start looking to create my own personal phrase to see if I can have something take off.

You can coin them on urban dictionary/wikipedia. Just make sure you do your research first. I was thinking about trying to coin some affiliate marketing related terminology. Right now there's some concepts in affiliate marketing that don't really have a word or universal terminology to describe it. So if you create a product and try to recruit affiliates, isn't that "affiliate networking" not "affiliate marketing?"

Right now you have to say "Please help, I'm really inexperienced at trying to recruit affiliates for my affiliate program." Instead you could say "Please help, I need some effective affiliate networking strategies."

It's a really cool idea, you might be famous for doing it in the future. You won't make money doing it but it's still a cool idea.

Also, if I remember correctly, "interweb" was legitimately used by internet newbies during the late 90s and early 2000s. Internet access was often sold as "the web" or the "information super highway" and I'm sure it was unintentionally used by low iq/dyslexic people, since the access was being marketed as both "the Internet" and "the web" and yeah some drugs/alcohol/brain damage and it some how become "interweb." It was pretty common back then. I remember seeing people entering AOL chat rooms asking how to get on the "interweb" and then I would check to see if their account password was "password". Then early internet trolls created the plural form to make fun of internet newbies. Soon afterwards in internet history, people discovered the internet was for porn and the term stuck.

When I first started doing a lot of forum posting I would get bent out of shape over some misspellings. Later I realized some of those misspellings were simply how things are spelled in another country.

But I am relieved to discover stuffs is not really a word in regard to how some people are using it here.

I do think there is a key in that. Once you figure out your new word, you have to use it all the time all over the place. Maybe even just go make the wiki page for it so when anyone questions you on it there is already a point of reference in place.
