Who Watches This Stuff?
I made the mistake of watching Australia's got Talent, and they had an average magic act, (yeah, another one) of an Asian lady and a pretty crappy hand puppet.
She made it sing, something average, and to be honest, if this was on the Muppet Show, l would have turned it off, within 10 seconds!
But what was really weird was the judges acted like it was the best thing they have seen!!!!
From what my brother told, me, (he works for a commercial tv station) it isn't uncommon for a British act, to be acted out or faked in other countries, in order to get some cheap, ratings!
The ratings for this stuff must be on the incline, least l hope so....
The first two looked good, but the third, no, too many scotches!
Yet again last act was good visually, but crap!
Free tv at it finest, groan....
But Australia is getting yet another new tv station, since the 20 or so we currently have aren't enough.
More crap, l guess, but they are playing Gravity so that is one show l could watch again, yeah, l know, a bit stupid here and there, but it has its moments!
