Yes Kim, it is getting quite old and it is becoming pure crud fouling up the whole forum. It can't be doing Allen any good at all. The original couple of threads were funny (and quite startling), but I can't see the point in starting completely new threads on the same theme.

Another classic example of how something which in essence is a really cool idea becoming abused by the few

It was about ME - and I just sat back and enjoyed the praise. Now I'm over it! I hope we don't have to watch as every attention seeker here shows us "how" he can use this trick. That could be a very long time.

Steve - if you type in [ you ] (without the spaces) the name of the person seeing the thread is displayed.

I figured that out when I checked the main forum. THANKS! This is a feature that can causse a lot of problems though.

If you want to see an EFFECTIVE way to use this little trick just go up and take a look at a few sigs in the main forum..(hint:BigMike, Paul Myers)

is starting to look like a carnival.

I really hope that people either grow up or this functionality is deep sixed
because it is getting very old and very annoying.

This feature was cute for the first few minutes, but now it's kinda creepy and distracting.

Is there a way for each member to disable it if they don't want to participate?

That way the people who want to see thier names all over can and those who don't want to see thier names all over don't have to and no one will be annoyed.

Just a thought.

For the record. I AM glchandler, have always been glchandler and will always be glchandler. However you only want my marketing techniques if you desire to have a negative cash flow many days of the month!
