Yes Kim, it is getting quite old and it is becoming pure crud fouling up the whole forum. It can't be doing Allen any good at all. This is worse than being hacked.. this is like being hacked into by 1,379 yapping parrots that can't write good English and think they are making a good impression with sour humour.

The original couple of threads were funny (and quite startling), but I can't see the point in starting completely new threads on the same theme.

Another classic example of how something which in essence is a really cool idea becoming abused by the few

This is getting us nowhere, we're looking like a bunch of 4 year old kids playing Playstation for the first time.

Allen, please, remove this thing asap.

I knew this was going to happen as soon as I saw it (and know I wasn't
taken in by it at the start. Knew right away it was forum code and this
abuse was going to spread like wildfire)

It's like 5 year old kids with a new toy. They can't stop playing with it until
      they've killed it completely.

Allen, time to deep six this monster before it starts pissing a lot of people off.

The funniest part of Allen's thread was that so many just didn't get it!

It was about ME - and I just sat back and enjoyed the praise. Now I'm over it! I hope we don't have to watch as every attention seeker here shows us "how" he can use this trick. That could be a very long time.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Well, all the 2 year olds in the forum are jumping all over this and the place
is starting to look like a carnival.

I really hope that people either grow up or this functionality is deep sixed
because it is getting very old and very annoying.

This feature was cute for the first few minutes, but now it's kinda creepy and distracting.

Is there a way for each member to disable it if they don't want to participate?

That way the people who want to see thier names all over can and those who don't want to see thier names all over don't have to and no one will be annoyed.

    Just a thought.
