So who thinks Conor is still a Legend and Should of won?
Or Who thinks Nate was going to win at the end anyways?
What about that Low life scum Aldo calling Conor a Pussy LOL right after the match.
What a low life scum he is. I use to have respect for him. now its all out the window.

I honestly Love Conor. He is a Legend. Cocky..but backs it up.
Yes this time he lost..but he went from 145 Division to 170 in bloody 2 weeks
He could of backed out but no he didnt back down from a challenge.

He took it on the chin like a Champion and a man and i know he will come back!

Randam i know but your thoughts

I like Conor and think he is a very good fighter. In fact, I think he's a very intelligent fighter too. However, he fought a very DUMB fight against Nate.

As often happens when a fighter's ego becomes too big and they begin to lose their grip on reality, they will make mistakes like Conor did (as well as Rousey, but that's another thread).

At least Conor admitted his mistake and took the loss like a man. He didn't whine or make excuses and gave props to Diaz for winning the fight.

Conor was winning the fight, convincingly, in the first round. But Conor was putting everything he had into those punches and ran out of gas in the 2nd round. And if you know the Diaz brothers, they keep coming at you and will not stop until you take them out.

And once Nate connected with that left hand, Conor wasn't used to being punched by a bigger man, and it rocked him. The fight was pretty much over at that point because Conor tried taking it to the ground, which is where Nate feels at home and Nate was able to seamlessly apply the rear-naked choke hold.

If Conor is as smart as I think he is, he'll learn from this defeat. He'll probably fight back again at feather weight just to build up some confidence again. We shall see. In any event, it was a good fight to watch and I'm happy Nate won. Good for him.

I actually agree with you RoD. Conor wasnt really controlled by his ego but the thing is Conor has even said this him self. When someone asks him to fight he will never back down. That is the reason he took the fight but having said that he did let his ego get to him when he got the call and i think he was told 150 and he said not make it 170 Division i don't care.

I think he could of had the fight at 150 or 160 but his ego just took hold of him plus he only had two weeks or so? to prepare and get his weight to 170 pounds which meant he had a lot of pressure to get his weight up plus train. Either way i think he is a Legend and the best fighter out there. I think he will defend his belt next & go from there.

What about Aldo? hahah He called Conor a Pussy.

I don't think Connor is a legend, yet. Longevity is a big part of having legendary status and Connor still has much to accomplish. He's a good fighter, no doubt, but he's not a legend yet.

I find Jose Aldo's comments disingenuous. Connor fought a much taller and slightly heavier man and he's never backed down from anyone. Aldo is just bitter because he got knocked out in the first round.

I'm looking forward to watching the drama unfold. Let's see who Connor fights next. There's already talk of Nate possibly fighting Lawler next. Ooohhh yeah!

That's the rumor. UFC 200 is supposed to be stacked with good fighters. We shall see.
