This is another video from Mat and Danielle's Exploring Alternatives.

From their YouTube description:

In this video, we take a tour of 2 tree house-style cabins on stilts at the Canopée Lit eco-resort in Sacré Coeur, Québec.

Some of their other videos I have posted on the OTF.

I like the dining table foldup design and the dormers in the loft. I think that would be great as a vacation cabin but living in a tiny house in a harsh winter might be too much 'inside time' for me.

This is not "as tiny" but is one of my two favorite tiny houses so far.... It's 700 square feet but has a real kitchen with an oven and space to cook and the windows are amazing. I could easily and comfortably live in this one.

Interesting, but I don't like the stilts thing. Don't want to live in a treehouse, even if they aren't built in trees. The only stilt houses I like are on a beach. A lot of step climbing, especially in the first one where the bathroom is downstairs. Wouldn't like the outdoor kitchen either. Bugs.

    Nice views though.

These appear to be part of a resort - so weekly rentals???

Wouldn't want to live in one but would be a cool place to spend a week's vacation.

For some reason, this is what I thought.

Might be interesting for a short vacation but not as a lifestyle choice.

My sons had a treehouse growing up...the base (floor) was an old steel garage door. Took about 5 people to get it secured but it was still there years later.

I used to love to sit up in the tree with them - we'd take our lunch up the rope ladder and then pull the ladder up so we were 'invisible'.
