    I had some super eyes once, in the early 90's. The colours I saw were amazing, can't explain it, but they were in my mind when I had my eyes shut. So it wasn't my eyes I suppose but my mind that was responsible for creating the colours, not sure.

    My brain was chemically enhanced at the time though by something called a purple ohm.

    I tried lookin' for my right eye with my left an' my left eye with my right, but my nose got in the way.

    Conclusion: I prolly don't have super eyes.

      I can't find anything super about my eyes. I can't even say they are super brown because they're a lighter brown in color.

      So I guess I'm just an ordinary brown eyed girl...

    Interesting. I've often wondered if there were people with genetic differences like these..

    Like maybe someone who could see in the dark, but not see colors. Or someone who had better muscular control of their eyes, and could change the shape of their eyes to see further away.

    I was always pretty nearsighted. As a teenager, I finally got glasses. The first few days I wore them, it felt like I had super vision. I had no idea what it was like to see so clearly, and so far away.

    As far as auras.....a good argument could be made that the women with this genetic gift (having 4 color cones in their eyes instead of three) are the people that can see auras.

    Although it isn't really evidence...the relationship could be convincingly made.

      What is interesting, do these colors actually exist in nature or are her eyes more sensitive to variations in the hue's and shading of objects and her brain's interpreting and assigning them as color variations? A high def camera ought to be able to be able to pick them up. for example.

      The next time I visit a store with these new Hi Def (4k etc) tv displays, that is still mostly interpolation (adding in pixels) it will be interesting to see them side by side with the 1080p ones to see the interpretation.On past views of this. That is what I recall seeing previously. More vibrant colors.

        I don't think any colors exist in nature. Different animals pick up colors differently. A bee sees a flower in completely different ways than we do. They see parts of the flower as bright red (I think), and we might see it as bland yellow.

        I suspect she's just sensitive to variations in color. Imagine being partly color blind. For example, Green looks like brown. Suddenly, we see green. Did the colors change? The world is the same, but we are seeing variations we didn't before.

        I think we create the colors in our mind, interpreting the frequencies of light that reach our retinas.

        All of this could be wrong. But I enjoy listening to myself talk.

        Added a second later; A thought did occur to me. If she has 4 color cones to our three. Wouldn't that take up more room? Would it affect her resolution in seeing? No idea.

          You would think a camera should be impartial, but thinking about it, you see cameras showing variations in hue, saturation, color bias and brightness of colors depending on the ccd sensitivity and the software interpreting it. Then how it's displayed on the tft or monitor/tv screen and how a printer would interpret them in printout.

          However, there does seem to be a general consensus within it's boundaries.

          You would think Superman would say, what happened to the red hue I vaguely remember seeing on Krypton as a baby.

          Oh yes, Film Review. 10 Cloverfield Lane, seen yesterday, highly entertaining and well acted and keeps you guessing till the end. Dan from Roseanne is really creepy. Also saw an extended Superman V Batman trailer, looking good.

            yeah, 10 Cloverfield lane was exceptionally well done. But it was like the ending was tacked on to make it Sci Fi, instead of a suspense movie. John Goodman was a stand out.

            Batman V Superman ? Reviews aren't out yet, but it looks amazing. An R rated 3 hour Director's Cut will be out on DVD as well. If it's as good as expected, I'll probably see it a few times.

              Ahh, you have seen. To be fair though, 10 Cloverfield Lane should have been a big clue.

              I don't see there being any room for a sequel though as we were winning. Better to end it there.

              A three hour directors cut of S V B? Extra violence and gore but no sex on Superman's side. We already discussed the reasons.

                I've read reviews on 10 Cloverfield Lane, that said it was really a suspense movie, and the producer wanted the last ten minutes added to make it a Sci Fi movie.

                You can see where the original ending would go, I think.

                A customer I talk to frequently is totally blind from birth.
                He lets me ask questions to try to understand how he sees the world.

                For example, I'll ask him how he thinks we can tell that someone is standing 100 feet away. I'll ask him how big he thinks the store is. Or what a painting is...or scenery.

                Sometimes his answer indicated that he doesn't truly understand the question. Sometimes he just has no idea what the answer is.

                But he can tell me how big the room is by the sound. He can "see" walls and buildings by the way sound echoes off them. What I can't get at, is how he pictures these things in his mind.


                I picture what it would be like to be Daredevil (the Superhero). His radar sense would allow him to see in great detail in any light, or in pitch black...all 360 degrees and as far as it took for the sound to bounce back. So...he couldn't see through glass, or read a newspaper, or view a painting.... and everything would appear as an all encompassing image in monochrome.

                Yes, it's a slow day at work.

                    Fixed it. I went for a PG rating. So it had to be edited form 90 minutes to 7 minutes. But I think the artistic integrity is still intact.

                    By the way, this isn't a true sequel to Bubblewrap Bimbo's Butt Bumping 25...it's more of a re-imagining.

                      Meh. The Bubblewrap Bimbo's Butt Bumping franchise lost its way after volume 7.

                      It's just rehashing the same old themes over and over again.

                      It's always sad when something you love sells its soul and just chases the almighty dollar.

                      Thank the gods that the Squat Cobbler Chronicles franchise still has some artistic integrity.
