I'll have to let you know about that.

After driving almost new cars for years....I purchased a 2000 model SUV in 2004. It's an Isuzu Trooper - top of the line with all bells/whistles available back then.

My son bought it new - I bought it for cash (a real steal) from him. He maintains his cars - and so do I. Currently - 152,000 miles (no, hasn't 'turned over') as I don't drive a lot. No squeaks - everything in the car works perfectly - inside looks new and except for a couple bumper dings outside looks good, too.

When gas prices peaked, many of my friends rushed out to buy little cars to "save on gas". They spent $20k+ for a car that would save them $20 a week.....weird. I kept my 15 mpg car - and no car payment.

6 cyl - great car to drive - starts first time every time - heated seats - huge sun roof - comfortable - towing package....plan to get a newer car just as soon as this one stops running perfectly....been saying that for several years.

Yes, I've posted similarly before - but people keep asking about cars - and I keep driving the same one....so...

On the other hand -- when I find a good rig, I want to keep it as long as I can.

My jeep is big enough for utility, gets close to 30mpg on highway, and can go just about anywhere I could ever want to get to in the field. Drives great on pavement, too. I got it used when my other one was totaled by the complete idiot who thought it was a good idea to pass me on the left while I was turning left, so "money's worth" is kinda beside the point. I had the one before it, though - same rig, two years older - for 7 years and can't remember a time I didn't think I'd gotten my money's worth. It was just the right rig for me.

Your missing out on all the fun. It's also the law that you should have a 2016 Prius with the color screens, leather heated seats, XM Sat Radio, bluetooth, Sat Nav, voice assist, backup camera and 52 miles per gallon etc.

Now run along and get a Prius 4 and stop this nonsense.

I will let you know when I have figured out how to use all this stuff when I'm better at driving.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

I perfectly understand, Nissan Leaf owners regard them as primitive.

It would be fair if you would just admit that castration wasn't all that painful for you.
