          Again I said I won't waste my vote on McCain or Obama.
          I didn't say I wasn't voting.
          If we ever expect to get honest government again we need to send the message that we won't except the same old crap from the two major parties.
          Both are talking about change, but with both of them the only change we'll see is the name on the oval office desk.

              Tim I haven't seen or heard anything from either of them that makes me want to even think about voting for them.
              If I had to choose one it would be Obama and if it comes down to one or the other I hope he gets it, but really neither of them impress me at all.
              In fact I heard Barr(?) and Nader last night and I don't think much of them either. I'd just as soon vote none of the above this year on that race.
              I've been shifting my attention to the state and local elections, New York has some of the most piss poor representatives in Albany that need to go.

                  This video is a little more informative.
                  Nader and the Green Party candidate are closer to the truth.

                  Let me tell you a little story.
                  I've been seeing an Orthopedic surgeon since 1980.
                  As with any doctor I see I told him right up front that I smoke cannabis.
                  Whenever I was in pain he would tell me to smoke a joint and them go on to say medical cannabis was a sham. We always argued over legalizing medical cannabis. One day back in 2003 when I was seeing him for the degenerative disk disease problem I had he made the same statement. Being in severe pain at the time I lost my patience (sp) and blew up. He smiled and said the reason he said medical cannabis was a sham was because anything less then complete legalization was just being hypocritical.
                  As my doctor said nothing less then complete legalization is simply unacceptable. It seems from the video I posted that Ralph Nader might get it. Though I support most of the marijuana (man I hate that word) reform groups out there such as N.O.R.M.L., M.P.P., and am/was a member of the Marijuana Reform Party of New York they all stop short of full legalization mainly because they think by pushing for medical use they have a better chance of accomplishing something. I disagree and believe it's all or nothing. Sure we should take small steps I guess, but after 38 years of small steps (NORML was founded in 1970) I'm tired of still being at the starting gate.
