Hi, all, took my Mother to another one, and it was a mess all things considered or an embarrassment to Melbournians, and Australians in general.

Here is an outside image, so oversearers, (yeah, l know Princess) can get an idea.

This was last years one, but similar. This years had a twilight one, well, twilight zone!

We got there at 4pm, since the weather was terrible, and my Mother ummed too much.

We naturally assumed, that twilight meant that it was open til 9.30pm, but it was a mess.

We got there at 4pm, and was told we had to pay for what was left of the day one, (about 50 minutes) and then pay again for the night one.

My Mother is a pensioner and couldn't afford $23 twice.

So, she thought about it for 10 minutes, and made the decision to fork it out, but when we got back to the ticketing office, )in the rain of course) it was too late, and we where shut out from that one, groan....

Then we went over to the Melb, Museum, looked around the store, had a coffee.

And went back....

Here is what was in the store, yeah, l know Terra, Opals, the bottom ones where from Cooper Peedi.

Then we finally got on, went outside, and found out that most of the stalls where closed, What the....

The guard who was as confused as we where, turned a blind eye and we snuck through.

Walked around there for a while, went back in to the Ex, building, for a sit down, and maybe dinner, but no...

We found that the top section with restaurant, art work, etc was closed.

And if we wanted dinner, we had to get chips, etc, outside and sit on wet hay in the rain!

F****whits!

Then inside, my Mother was hoping to sit down, but of course no chairs.

But she did eventually find one, l personally wanted to go upstairs and throw a few over the 10 metre balcony, (some would have made it)?

So, these F***heated CEO's, made a dogs breakfast of the twilight one, and didn't give a s*** about the elderly!

This event was well run years ago, and also was open late all week, but these days, it just seems to be a poorly run, fast buck.

I hope that the big flower show in England doesn't go the way ours is?

    Ooooh!

I love the opal ring smack dab in the middle of the three!

Someday I want to come and visit Australia and when I do, I'm going to have to buy me one of those opal pieces of jewelry, haha!

He, he, yes, it is nice Terra, and unfortunately the best shot l could get behind glass, on a mobile.

I also got some of my frustrations out on the fluffy dinosaurs in the shop, (they where setting up some Jurassic Park display) and l made a tall necked dinosaur eat the ear of the one with a long horn, (the sick Jurassic Park one).

      Had to happen!

Hmmm, yes, it was a total mess, used to be run well.

Kick them, no, l am not a violent person,.....strangling them while saying "M**** F****, was what l was thinking, while contemplating sitting on a wet bail of hay, while it was lightly raining, and eating my chips.

And saying this little M*** F**** chip went to market,....?

PS this is all hypothetical, well, some of it is!

Yes, Sal, at least last year, the artwork and tea, room, (well, a lot of tables and chairs, etc) was open, and it was a rush, but we saw it all.

My Mother is getting past their yearly stuffups anyway, but next year, if we leave early, and ignore the so called twilight walk, crap, it will probably be better?

But each year, the stallholders are getting less and less, even inside it was pretty stark, (much better last year, l showed them here).

Seems like new ownership took over, and have been trying to make a buck and slowing running this show into the ground.

          No surprises there, ahem.

Hope that you liked the crystal tree image, he, he!

Yes, they had a large table full of warm and fuzzy dinosaurs, and at that stage, after being kicked out of the Flower show, and hungry, and tired, and wet, and p*** off, it had to be done.

And no children where shocked when l did this, but l gave it my all, lol.

Any idea who the new owners are? Seems like a familiar train of events to what is happening with another formerly highly successful business.

Are they following "Bruce's Guide To Business Development" written by John Cleese, Michael Palin et al?

            Wouldn't be a bit surprised!

I envision a group of 20+ year old, CEO's with plenty of ideas, but b*** all in regards to experience?

But it could just be a group of older ones, that have limited interests, and minds to go with it?

A case in point, all Coles supermarkets in AU, recently updated all of their automatic checkouts, so it is a cryptic mess, and l dread using it, eventhough l know a lot about this evil devices.

A bit like Windows 10, but all of the colored squares are hidden of red.

Someone there jokingly said, that some CEO wanted to make points so updated all of the software, from working well, to piece of s***!

Maybe we should have abolished all CEO's, instead?
