In a city, there are noises, dust, and traffic jams that aren't in a village.

I would write it this way, but isn't there more dust in villages?

      Thank you very much Tara.

It's for my English homework, so I don't care much where dust is and where isn't.

I just ask a question. I figured it wasn't college level considering the OP question.

If OP got banned it didn't have anything to do with me.

I'll give you a quick Latin lesson. Terra is Latin for earth and so is my name.

I think it's good you are trying to improve. Here's a tip: don't ever use the word "advices". It's a very common error - the word "advice" is both singular and plural.

Thank you. I am relieved to see the literary comma. There are a lot of cognitive linguistic reasons a comma should always be added before the "and" in a series and the omission drives me more crazy than any other mistake in grammar.

This, incidentally, is how I would have written it as well.

Just to let you know, I don't personally agree with the rule, but they're pretty strict about not allowing anyone under 18 here.

Nope - there's a singular/plural incongruency in the series that invalidates the verb usage.

The rule came about under the previous owner because we had 12-13 yr olds signing up and trying to sell things here.

Understood and respected, although I still don't agree with their decision. If they can figure out how to collect the money, and they deliver on their claims, why make a distinction? (Yes, I know it was done for legal reasons; I get that.)

Maybe I'm biased because I started when I was 11.
