Specific time or range of times for a job interview?

Hi guys, quick ques...

I have a job interview invitation for next week, but I was asked to choose the time. I'd like to meet at 10am on either Tues or Weds or ask him to suggest a few times that work best on his end. Is it impolite to not give a range of times like 9:30-11am on Tues or Weds? I just read that 10am was the optimal time for an interview

    Steve, there's no "optimal" time. I am a former marketing manager and recruiter. I can tell you that the earlier the better. I found that earlier people made more of an impression that stuck with me and sometimes I had chosen a short list before I got to the last interviews. What sort of job is it?
