Wacko Jacko's Birthday and Google?

Today, I Micahel Jackson's birthday I believe.

On Google.co.uk we have an image of his two feet in place of the O's, on Google.com it's normal.

Sorry if I'm being totally dumb, but can anyone explain why we have it and it's not on the .com?

      hmmm, that's strange, maybe Google also have an as complex landing page algorythim as they do with their ranking one.

        It's G's geo location, everyone will see it in their own region but not always when they look at other regions. I see it at google.ca and co.uk but not at .com or .com.au. With a U.S. proxy I see it at .com. It's just a further reminder that Google's results are skewed by region.

          This is just a guess, but maybe Google synced it with timezones... 29th in UK, but not in US yet.
