Hey all,

I've seen a lot of threads and posts in here about Sci-Fi and classic movies.
So, I thought I'd drop this in here.

Some of you may have even seen him.

A very close friend of mine used to host a horror movie tv show in Cleveland.
The Cool ghoul.

Well, here's his new web site: http://www.ghoul.tv

I think you'll get a kick out of the video bits.

We're working on something very exciting. Even groundbreaking on the 'net.
Due to launch Oct 2nd.

Hope you like it. Let me know your thoughts.
Feel free to PM me.

And he happened to just miss the times I was there. I moved to Cleveland for the first time in 1975, and the last time I was back we left in 1982.

Good timing you are launching near Helloween.

For what it's worth, I like the concept.

Years ago in California we had a TV show called Fractured Features - every Saturday night and they had a real cool Guy that came on and moderated in a spooky room with spider webs, etc.

I think the internet is the new TV - and it lends itself nicely with videos - just sending the links around for example like you did here - starts to spread the word, bookmarks, backlinks, etc.

    By the way - feedback

Ghoul Community Fourm - it is Forum unless this is some kind of TRICK on words?

Keep us posted on how you do and I hope that is very well!

(born in Eastern Ohio - never been back) lol

p.s. be sure to get David Lynch's 'Eraserhead' - it is really HORRIFIC and a classic fur shur.

I have downloaded the FireFox plugin for the videos.

Then it took a while to get the video thingy 'buffered'.

Fantastic black and white horror movie trailers.

I love the movie theatre stuff at the beginning 'the show will start in 4 minutes'

Old time pop corn and hotdogs with legs, and it was nano-minutes, as it counted down the minutes, they were only seconds. Ha ha reverse horror.

Well back to watching the trailers.

    Holy Bat Cave! Early Helloween.

Just got back from the taping of the next Cool Ghoul Show.

The bits are all done with green-screen in The Cool Ghoul's garage.
Now I know how actors feel trying to react to things you can't see and out of sequence.

We started about 2:00 PM and finished up at about midnight.

    "Sufficiently stupid" is our standard.

This show definitely meets the criteria.
It will aire December 1st so be sure to tune in.

Actually, the only movie that really cared me was The Exorcist.

The Halloween movies never really impressed me. (sorry).

I thought Freddie Kruger was a great concept that they never used to it's full potential.

He should have been more than a teen drive-in flick character.

When I was just a child I used to watch "horror movies" at about 11:00 P.M. on a Friday night. I would go to bed about 10:00 P.M. and wait until my parents went to bed and sneak down the stairs and turn on Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, Dracula, the Mummy or whatever was playing. My mom would come in the kitchen and catch me and scold me because she did not like me watching those movies.

We're working on getting some of the great old classics.
I contacted Universal but they said they don't license movies for the internet.

But, there's still Hammer, United Artists, and a few others.

I watched "The Wolfman" last night on DVD.

    Hey all,

    Just an update.

    The site is growing rapidly.

In fact, it's going to be featured in "Horror Hound" magazine.

If you haven't seen the December show yet you should check it out.

I'm going up Friday for the taping of the January show. "Satanic Rights Of Dracula" with Christopher Lee.
    Welcome to GHOUL.TV

Of course, the movies are secondary. The Cool Ghoul and the bits are the real entertainment.

If you like the show you sign up now for a free account.
We're going to be making it a paid membership after the January show is up.
You'll still be able to watch the new shows for free but, only paid members will have access to the archives.

    Welcome to GHOUL.TV

If you like the site. Help us spread the word.
