For the first 3 years I drove a cab, all the cars were Checkers. What a well built car. If they were ever in an accident you just wash off the dash with a hose and give it to the next driver.

No, not really. Once any brand gets too popular, regardless if a vehicle or food or whatever, greed could easily step into the process and ruin a good thing. I'm not accusing any company, just very aware to be wary what I pay for might not be the same I purchased previously.

Other than Nike Air Monarchs and Macallan scotch, not really.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

When my Dad was alive, I always drove a Ford, usually a Thunderbird. It was just because he worked for The Ford Motor Company.

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

      .
I always pictured you drinking Thunderbird from a brown paper bag in an alley in Wooster's skid row rather than driving one.

I spent the night on skid row, around 3AM, a drunk looks at me and says to his invisible friend, "There go the property values".

        No respect..I get no respect.

My maternal grandfather worked for Henry Ford. All the men on the paternal side of my family worked for General Motors. For decades I only purchased General Motors cars but that changed after I bought my first PT Cruiser!

We loved the Inca gold Dream Cruiser we had for many years --> only 7500 were built in '02 and that turned out to be great car except for the damn expensive timing belt repairs.

Not really loyal to a particular brand, but the most reliable vehicle I owned was a Buick. My wife has a Lincoln now and we hope to never never get one of those again, it's built way too cheaply.
