Beautiful view from San Francisco

I designed a blog for a customer who does hardwood flooring. I told him to take photos and post them to show his work. Take a look at one of his latest jobs. What a view of the Bay Bridge. I wouldn't mind living there.

Nice, Tim - that is down in the newer 'condo city' on the waterfront - used to all be ramshackle piers and dive bars until the last decade or two. Some really nice looking offices and living spaces with retail on the ground floor. Gazillion dollar rent I am sure!

Nice to see a picture of the 'other bridge' since San Francisco is famous for the Golden Gate Bridge. The Bay Bridge is beautiful too all lit up at night.

It is a little famous for collapsing in the Loma Prieta earthquake (part of it) but other than that not many people know it exists if they don't live in Northern California.

Yeh, that area has really come a long way. I went to a restaurant for a wedding reception earlier this year right down below where that first photo was taken. The Bay Bridge does look great at night.

Looks like they changed that blog post to a different one. I changed the link now. Unfortunately they also took out a couple photos, but you can still see the bridge in one of them.

LOL - my thought exactly. I've been to SF. You couldn't pay me to live anywhere close to it. The air is always visible and it stinks. You aughta see the condition of the highway - it looks like a landfill. Maybe when the population decreases by about 2/3 and the air and land are cleaned up a bit it will be a nice place again.

He was talking abut the blog post dissapearing, not San Francisco being grey. BTW, SF doesn't really have smog. It's right up against the Ocean and any dirty air is blown inland pretty much. The "visible" air is called fog. ;-) SF has some great areas and some bad ones. I love it though.
