Is this something new? Or maybe it's been there and I've just noticed it for the first time.

Pretty neat, though. If you don't know what language a page or a text selection is, it will try to detect it for you and translate it.

    NO it's not new, but they do update it and do all kinds of things to it all the time, to make it more accurate...

    by the way...It will also translate entire webpages as well.. without having to paste the text in!

    if using word press, could you detect a visitors country and show a translated page of your website automatically.

    Any one tried to do something like that on a static site?
