Need advice - how to get a refund from an internet marketeer

Dear all,

I had paid (about $300) an internet marketeer via paypal and the goods (4 items) were sent to me.

After viewing the dvds - which are recording of seminars. These were poor quality - can see his face but the wordings not legible. One of the dvd was not working - hang.

I wrote to him requesting for refund.
He replied with an address to return to and wrote will refund once received.

I had written to him 10 days after my dispatched. He did not acknowledge the receipt. But said due to his return policy there will be no refund.

Kindly advise - is there a way to get my refund?

    Talk to PayPal. They're pretty customer-centric.

    If you purchased with a credit card on paypal then talk to your bank.

    If it was with paypal then talk with paypal.

    Or else just return them or contact him asking if he will cover the postage cost's and for him to send you a return envelope LOL (was a joke the last part).

    Yeah, I just had to demand a refund for the very first time and I did it with affiliate jump. They didnt respond to my attempts to contact them for weeks so I called my credit card company directly and within 2 days I had my refund from the bank directly credited to my charge card even though the transaction was through paypal.
