I freggin hate the Snuggie commercial!

OMG this stupid snuggie commercial is driving me nuts. I can't stand it anymore. If I have to hear it one more time im going to blow my freaking brains out.

You know the one Im talking about? That stupid little blanket/robe thing that you wear around the house.
Who buys that sh*t anyway?

    Perhaps if you are viewing a commercial often enough for it to drive you bat**** - you might consider the option of turning OFF the TV for awhile and doing something real.

    He's just sayin' a commercial drives him nuts. But, yeah, turning it off is a reasonable option.

    I give the "inventor" credit. I can picture the scene...

    They come home after a heavy night of drinking, only to wake up and find they have somehow managed to put their bathrobe on backwards. Then they think, "HEY! I bet I could make a fortune selling backwards bathrobes!!!, Wait, but who would be dumb enough to buy it? Oh yeah, the same people who buy bottled water and think immunizations cause autism...I'll make millions!!!"

    As a marketer, how could anyone not love the snuggie? Branding, ad campaigns everywhere, I bet you can't find a person who watches tv that doesn't know what the snuggie is... brilliant marketing in action.

    If you are however, a bit annoyed with snuggie, this video should help you feel better

      My favorite new commercial is the Pedegree dog food with the talking puppy.

      He tells you Pedigree says it gives dogs healthy poo - then says not only does he make a lot of poo but now it's a lot of healthy poo.

      I know - it's silly - but the damned thing cracks me up every time. Obviously, I'm easily entertained.

        Haha, I've seen a slightly different one - "now I'm not just a good pooper, I'm an optimal one" - and I always enjoy watching it. If I had a dog, it would so win me over.


        I dislike the Snuggie commercials, too. At first they were okay, and maybe it's me, but nowadays it seems like they're all twice as long as most other commercials and extremely dull.

        Ever since Jay Leno made the joke about them being body bags, negativity has been connected to the name that makes me want to stay away from owning one (plus, like Kurt said, it also reminds me of hospital gowns).

        BTW, I don't watch that much TV anymore. It isn't seeing it so many times over and over for me, just that they suck -- easiest way to put it. It feels like a mini-infomercial.

    I might be a nerd or something but I like to watch informercials to learn and get ideas on direct response marketing. I particularly pay attention on how they stack offers, headlines, and their hooks to get the viewer into the commercial and spending money. Peace out!
