HEYSAL

I notice in several of your posts you talk about passing a big fattie around. Is that your MO?
Just curious.

Here's to your continuing success

It's my way of saying that someone is thinking like they are high -- or it is time to have fun instead of being serious.

    No - It's not MY MO...it's Thom's MO.

My MO is rock and gem hunter.......and there are places I go that I wouldn't even TAKE someone to if they were passing the fatties! Dangerous areas and lack of sober/straight abilities don't mix.

But thanks for thinking of me, LMAO.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Do you ever find any precious stones?
What is the coolest thing you ever found?

This thread just goes to show that lots of folks here are curious, snoopy sorts of characters (me included). Put someone's name in the subject line and everyone rushes to read the post -- even though the post has nothing to do with them.

Of course, so far I'm the only one to admit it. But the views are ticking up... and I'm pretty sure Locpic and Sal haven't viewed this puppy four dozen times.

    Cheers,
    Becky

ETA: Who else is viewing this thread? Hey -- Kim Standerline, is that you? And it looks like Seasoned Steve. And Kim -- you're peeking too, eh? Et tu, Tina?

      No - It's not MY MO...it's Thom's MO.
When I got up this morning and read this thread I said there is no way my name won't be mentioned by the time I get home from work:rolleyes:
Yep locpic I guess I'm the resident Cannabis activist, smoker, and hemp advocate.

    LOL.
Sorry Thom, but you ARE the expert around here. I'll be fair and admit to it, but I'm a real light weight and it's not an everyday event in my world.

Really Becky - I'm sure after the way I run my mouth just about anyone normal, or even pretending to be would be curious to see who was slapping me for what, eh?

Locpic63..uh, if that is your REAL name,

Yes I've found quite a few. As far as the coolest...depends on your tastes. Some would say the gold nuggets, some the aquamarine.... I personally have some agates that really float my boat. I like agates real well. But then I have some petrified wood that's pretty kewl, too - and some trilobite fossils......Cripes, I'm not the "favorites" type. Every time I find something really great it's my favorite until I find something else really great. To me, if someone has a favorite something that actually stays a favorite something for a long time.....they need to get out more.

My favorite song is still I Am The Walrus by the Beatles. It has been since about 1983. If I hear a better one, I will change my favorite song. But I listen to a lot of different music. So, I don't really have to "get out" to hear new songs. At least I'm open to expanding my horizons, it's just that I haven't heard a better song.

Side note: I once made a list of my top 1500 songs. It took a while but it was a lot of fun.

    Rock on!
    Michael

p.s. I just noticed that "rock" has two meanings in this thread.

Well, gee, Michael -- I tell ya what. I'll qualify what I said because I would just LOVE to make that special find that would be my all time, hands down favorite for a lifetime. Something like a triple digit carat stone of gem quality red beryl or diamond - or a nice fist size Alexandrite.

You can be glad I haven't found it yet..........because nobody would hear the end of it!

Looks like you have found some pretty kewl stuff. I've panned for gold before and actually found some. Use to hunt for petosky stones on the beach along lake Michigan back when I used to live in the north country. Found some lovely ones. Problem is I never hang to "stuff" very long.

    Nice Chatting with you.

I grew up in MI. Used to find some nice petosky's too. Didn't know about Lake Superior agates back then.
Gold isn't all as much of a mystery as some believe - just quantities that will get you to fat cat city aren't as prevalent as would be convenient. I have a warrior pal that I just gave the ultimate gold hunting secret to and am waiting to see if he uses it and if he does, how much he gets.
