Don't know why but I sometimes think of stupid things like this, what would you do if you learn that you had only 1 more year to live??

I guess I would say goodbye to friends and family and live like a tourist for a year, travel europe and try to be happy...

What would you do??

One year guara*nteed? That's a better guarantee than we normally have.

There isn't much I'd change - maybe get some of those longer trips in that I've put off for this or that reason. Arkansas for diamonds, Utah for red beryl, etc.

The fact is, I've had doctors call "times up" on me before and learned real early in life to make it count. My whole life has been lived differently, I think anyway. No telling for sure what I'd be doing if the rules back then hadn't been the same.

I've contracted, owned my own businesses, traveled - dumped off my ex's when they were more work and trauma than fun and partner, dropped off bosses when they decided that "employee" was a new term for "slave". Moved when I felt like it (and a few times that I didn't) I've taken no guff from anyone - and that has hurt in some ways, but in others more important ones it's been a blessing. I have kept my spirit free and my life on my own terms.

So what would I do if I knew I had one year. You're lookin' at it.

So you would basically try to make more money for the last few days of your life? I wouldn't do that
