We aren't as different as we think...

Instead of always focusing on our difference, maybe we should spend just a little time on what we all have in common?

"Its easy to think there are more things dividing us than uniting us. But we actually have much more in common with other nationalities than youd think. We asked 67 people from all over the world to take a DNA test, and it turns out they have much more in common with other nationalities than they would ever have thought."

You know there is some Truth to that. But the moment I think it is totally True I come across another Human Being do something that is just beyond my ability to relate in any way, shape, or form.

And Iam not just talking about the mom killing her 4 kids type stuff.

Iam talking about everyday stuff where people just do not have Consideration for anyone around them or Empathy for anyone at all.

    Totally foreign to me

I posted this because I get tired of all the negative crap and was hoping to be able to talk about the positive things that might bring us together a little bit once in a while. My fault.

You are forgiven. If I ever have the urge to get a little bit together with another humanoid, I'll call a hooker.

I admire the effort. But we have already been brought together...unified in complete harmony. We have all agreed that you are the enemy and must be destroyed.

Your existence proves that Kurt's original premise is flawed.

Awesome video! Like you say 'we are not as different as we think.' The video also highlighted how much we don't know about ourselves. Most people only know their true lineage only a few generations back.

Sometimes we may "look" very different but are similar in other biological ways. Organ transplants come to mind. If I needed a bone marrow or organ transplant I may not find a match among any of my closest family members but I may find a match from someone of a different race.

"It clearly demonstrates that there is no effect on transplant survival where an organ is transplanted between the races. Thus, race is not a factor in assessing whether a given recipient might benefit from a given donor organ." Source
