Which Rap Name would you choose out of these 3 ?

O Flamez meaning O - Oliver, Flamez - dope rhymes "fire"

D-Verse meaning The Verse / Diverse / Dope Verse / Doller Verse

Yugo King meaning Yugo - ex yugoslawian, King - king lol , kinda gangsta like latin kings

First project will be german rap then afterwards both german and english speaking rap

This could count as branding. So Id like some general rules and tricks when naming a company or brand.

Give me information open up my mind

Thank you Warriors

Rap is not my venue - but when naming anything...if you have to explain the name or if your audience must 'understand' the purpose of the name...you may be over thinking it.

Best names are easy to remember and don't require a lot of thought to "get".

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

The Yugo was an extremely crappy car. You may not want the comparisons. Something can be flaming and not always considered a good thing.

D-Verse, however, has no direct negative connotations that I can think of and seems marketable...to me, somebody who doesn't listen to rap.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

oh yeah Yugo the car is internationaly what people think of when they hear that word ? In germany ex-yugoslawians are called Jugos - english name for it is Yugo. Yugo the car doesnt exist anymore, I havent thought of it at all. Does it make most people think of the crappy car ?

I've never heard an America refer to a person as a Yugo, but I still hear references to the crappy car. If your audience is American, I'd stay away. I think D-Verse is more interesting, anyway.

Don't underestimate the car's enduring legacy. Time magazine, in its list of the 50 worst cars of all time, labeled the Yugo as the Mona Lisa of bad cars, going on to elaborate:

" Built in Soviet-bloc Yugoslavia, the Yugo had the distinct feeling of something assembled at gunpoint. Interestingly, in a car where "carpet" was listed as a standard feature, the Yugo had a rear-window defroster reportedly to keep your hands warm while you pushed it."

        I'd go with D-Verse.

That takes me back, after giving up on a 1960's Ford Estate, dreadfully underpowered, even when he put a reconditioned engine in.. My father bought a new Lada, another Crap Russian car. It truly was crap, but he took it upon himself to offload it onto his son in law and buy a more powerful one and then sold that and got an estate version.

Fortunately he eventually gave up this madness and got something more conventional.

Its a Euro thing, especially German thing, Ex-Yugoslawians call themselves balkanci aka people from balkan but know what yugo is as it was our country.

hmm only argument left is that most rap listeners are younger and yugo car is something +40 year olds remember ? I just love how Yugo King fits my Label name that I aim for. Im totally not sure. Or be like I dont care thats not what it means to me. I gues I need some statistic or something to see if todays generation that listens to hiphop thinks of a shitty car when they hear Yugo.

They'll learn all about it as soon as they Google your rap name. However, you know better than I how the name would go over in your neck of the world. If your gut says to go with Yugo, then You Go. (See what I did there?)
