We are more and more on the planet. more than 7.000.000.000 inhabitants and increasing. And all who live (or survive) on the earth, some much and many less, we consume and buy.

Food, clothing, technology, transportation, services, in short. Every day and all the time there is a movement of consumption and constant use. Trade exchange that agrees to companies and brands to be able to exist as such and agrees to buyers when meeting their needs at any possible level (by layout and your pocket).

But, as you may have noticed, times change and people's behaviors quickly change as well.

If we continue with the same rhythm of consumption life around the world and with the increase of population, surely there will come a time when we will have neither to eat nor to dress.

That is why companies already realize that the same consumer demands a "rudder" to rethink the way in which we are buying and consuming and producing companies. It is necessary to make a sustainable consumption.

Sustainable consumption has been here for some years now. And what is that? According to the UN, Sustainable Consumption is "the use of products and services that respond to basic necessities and that lead to a better quality of life and that also minimize the use of natural resources, toxic materials, emissions of pollutants during Their entire life cycle and do not compromise the needs of future generations. " Little does it matter?

It is said that sustainability is fashionable. That is why we must seize the moment. People are already recommended to make responsible consumption. For example: before buying, think if you really need it; Comply with the four "R's": reduce, reuse, repair and recycle; Save paper, water and energy; Decrease the carbon footprint (if you go for the tortillas to the corner, so that you grab the car?); Approaching organic and fair trade products for food; Educate future generations about the environment and change the consumption model (where less is more), among other tips, why companies do not also put "batteries" to go with an issue that already worries their consumers?

Well they are already doing it. And an industry that is entering the game is that of fashion and dress. Even with small efforts.

And it sounds logical, after a long time has been keeping the rhythm of changing clothes constantly and regularly, discarding garments in good condition, either by a change in fashion or because it is seasonal change.

Sustainable consumption is a reality that we need to start dealing with, not just in our marketing campaign, but also in the way we produce and transport our products.
